Earth Day
Earth_day Every April 22nd is celebrated as earth day. However, while alive on the earth, everyday is earth day. The earth is the third planet from the Sun formed about 4.6 billion years ago, as according to radiometric dating. Out of the eight major planets and hundred thousands of dwarf planets (from kiuper belt), it is the only planet which harbour life, thus, our presence on it. Having been the only life supporting planet, it is therefore mandatory to ensure the preservation of the earth, for its sustainable sustainability. Trends of human technological advancement, population growth and urbanization sprawl have been the major instigators of earth destruction, all in expense of human development. Contemporarily, almost all activities of man is in another way harmful to the environment; transportation, industrialization, agriculture, construction, food processing, among others, are the salient examples of human activities which equalled to environmental extermination.
